Overview for MLA Citation | 1 min

Welcome to MLA Citation

Citation is an important (and required) part of the research and writing process, and you need to know the basic principles of MLA citation when you are required to cite in that style.  Even if you use citation generators in the databases or a citation management program (like Refworks Links to an external site.), you must be able to proofread the citations they create.  While the many formatting rules can be daunting, knowing the basic principles of MLA citation will help.
