Class Information

Here are several notes about the class that you can refer back to during virtual learning.

  • Assignments for each day can be found on the home page by clicking on the day of the week.
  • Try to turn in assignments daily.  I understand during this strange time that things happen though.
  • To turn in an assignment that is on paper, you can take a picture or scan and email me.  There is also a text box that you can type answers into and submit that way.  If you need a visual reminder of how to do this, go back to the page for August 17th and view the video where I walked you through the process.
  • Live Zoom meetings will take place on Fridays.  This will give you a chance to meet with me and other students.  I will use this time to help clear up any misunderstandings or confusion from the week's work.  Meeting times will be determined by homeroom.
  • If you want to go back and make up missing work or review any prior material from a previous week, you can click on the older assignments tab.
  • To be counted present for the day, you must turn in the assignment for the day.  Sometimes assignments will be turned in through Canvas and other times it will be completing an online assignment via another program.  Attendance will be taken based on turning in assignments or communicating with the teacher.
  • Grades through Canvas are not your official grade. You may log on to Skyward to check your official grade.  I will not take every assignment for a grade because sometimes I give the assignment for you to practice a new skill without taking a grade at first.    For example, on the first day I have you tell me how you feel about navigating Canvas.  I will look at your response, but not record a grade.
